This course covers essential IT concepts needed to succeed in CompTIA ITF+, including hardware fundamentals, software basics, networking, cybersecurity fundamentals, and more. By the end, you'll be better positioned for advanced certifications (A+, Net+, Sec+), or to dive deeper into specific IT disciplines.

Course Content & Structure
Hardware Basics
Key components of a computer, device setup, and troubleshooting.
Software Essentials
Operating systems, common applications, and basic troubleshooting practices.
Networking Fundamentals
Intro to network types, configurations, and basic security measures.
Cybersecurity & Safe Practices
Threat awareness, secure web browsing, and data protection.
The course typically runs for 9hrs online self-paced, we want you to be done in 2 Day but have a 2hr a week program too for our busy adults 3-4 weeks, with flexible pacing.
Course materials include
1. Online modules,
2. Interactive assignments, and
3. Short quizzes to gauge your progress.
4. You can revisit lessons at any time for extra practice.
5. Mentor Guide with to meet with to answer your questions and help you along the way.
You can do in two days (9hrs) preferred or for our busy adults 2hrs a week for 3.5 weeks
We provide recommended timelines to keep you on track for completing the Tech+ prep in about a month or less.
Meetings with Your Instructor/Mentor
2 Times a Week (Group Setting)
You'll have the opportunity to join group office hours twice a week, for 1 hour each session. These sessions are designed to answer your questions, review material, and address challenges you might face in the coursework.
Additional Support
If you still have questions outside of the group office hours, you can email or message the instructor, who will respond as quickly as possible. Our mentor will track your progress, offer study tips, and guide you as you navigate the material—so you're fully prepared once funding is approved or you're ready for the exam.
